Welcome to Ephy
Ephy is a free desktop application by Rhythm Seven Software for generating precision ephemerides. Whether you are an astrologer, astronomer, or researcher, Ephy gives you accurate planetary position data over any time range you specify.
An ephemeris (plural: ephemerides) is a table of celestial body positions calculated at regular time intervals. Ephy produces these tables for the Sun, Moon, planets, lunar nodes, and selected asteroids -- from any perspective you choose.
What You Can Do with Ephy
- Generate geocentric ephemerides -- planetary positions as seen from the center of the Earth
- Generate heliocentric ephemerides -- planetary positions as seen from the Sun
- Generate topocentric ephemerides -- planetary positions from a specific location on Earth's surface, accounting for parallax
- Configure your output -- select celestial bodies, metrics, date ranges, time intervals, zodiac systems, and reference planes
- Save and reuse configurations -- store study settings and body selections as presets
- Export your data -- save results to CSV, copy to clipboard in Markdown or tab-delimited format, or drag records directly into other applications
