Update Notification

The update notification is a download-icon button at the top right of the main window, immediately to the left of the theme switch. It appears only when a newer version of Cygnus is available and is hidden entirely when the version you have installed is current, so its presence is itself the notification.

Reveal the Available Version​

To find out which version is on offer before deciding to download it:

  • Rest the pointer on the download button to the left of the theme switch.

Open the Download Page​

To go and get the newer version:

  • Click the download button to the left of the theme switch.

The download page opens in your default web browser, and the Cygnus window stays open behind it.

tip

To check which version you are currently running, open the About Dialog and read its Version field.
