Compass is a professional astrological charting application for casting and reading traditional wheel charts: Mundane, Natal, and Transit.

What You Can Do with Compass​

Compass focuses on a small, powerful set of charting tasks. With Compass you can:

  • Cast wheel charts: Draw Mundane, Natal, and Transit charts as traditional wheels, each in its own window. See Open a New Chart.
  • Configure a chart beside its wheel: Set the frame, bodies, and aspects for a chart in the panel next to the wheel. See Mundane Chart Configuration.
  • Step a chart through time: Move a chart forward and backward to see how the sky changes. See Chart Time Navigation.
  • Set global chart defaults: Choose the appearance and display defaults that new charts start from. See Chart Settings.
  • Define recognized aspects per chart type: Decide, for each chart type, which aspects the wheel recognizes. See Aspect Settings.
  • Maintain shared reference data: Keep your Locations and Natal Records up to date for reuse across charts. See Locations Editor and Natal Records Editor.
  • Open charts straight from Aquila: Jump from an event in Aquila to its matching chart in Compass. See Open a Chart from Aquila.
