Chart Wheel
The chart wheel is the rendered chart at the heart of the chart window. It repaints live as you change settings, follows the application's light or dark theme, and shows any calculation notices in the banner above it, for example the fallback used when houses cannot be drawn at a polar latitude.
What the wheel shows
- Sign ring: the ring of signs around the outside of the wheel.
- Bodies: the plotted bodies, each drawn with its glyph.
- Aspect chords: the lines drawn between bodies to mark their aspects, including dashed chords for parallels and contraparallels.
- House cusps: under Horizon orientation, the wheel also draws the house cusps.
Copying from the wheel
You can copy a formatted, textual description of a body or an aspect straight from the wheel by right-clicking it. The command you are offered depends on what you right-click:

To copy a body's position:
- Right-click the body on the wheel and select Copy Position.
To copy an aspect's description:
- Right-click the aspect chord on the wheel and select Copy Description.
The copied text is placed on the clipboard, ready to paste elsewhere.
