Chart Window Toolbar

The chart window toolbar is the pair of icon buttons at the top left of a chart window, sitting above the settings column. Both open the same editors the shell's Edit menu opens, so you can adjust how charts look or how aspects are defined without hunting back to the launcher.

The rest of the band, to the right of the splitter and above the wheel, carries the time navigation controls.

tip

The aspect-settings button is the quickest route to an aspect editor. The shell's Edit menu and toolbar dropdown both make you pick a chart type first; this button already knows which chart you are working in.
