Exit Application

Exiting closes the main window and shuts down Compass. The window's position is saved on the way out, so the launcher reopens where you left it the next time you start the application.

Exiting Compass​

To close Compass:

  • On the menu bar, click File → Exit.

You can also exit by clicking the window's close button. On Windows, press Alt+F4. On macOS there is no File menu, so press Cmd+Q or choose Quit from the Compass application menu at the top of the screen.
