Cancel Study Generation

Canceling stops an event generation that is still in progress, so you do not have to wait for a long computation you no longer need.

While a study is generating events, a Cancel button and a progress indicator appear next to the Run button, which stays visible but is disabled while the generation runs. The Cancel button and progress indicator are visible only while the study is generating events.

To stop a generation in progress:

  • Click the Cancel button.

The background computation stops and the study returns to its unlocked, configurable state, ready for you to adjust its settings and generate events again.
