Timeline Study
A Timeline Study aggregates events from a chosen selection of generator studies into a single chronological timeline. Instead of switching between studies to compare their results, you see every selected study's events woven together in one clean, two-column view of dates and descriptions. This gives you a bird's-eye view of how events across different studies converge over time.
Timeline Source Studies
The Generator Studies list on a Timeline Study is where you choose which of the workspace's generator studies feed the timeline. The list shows every generator study in your workspace, so its contents depend on the studies you have created. Each study has a checkbox, and the checked studies are the ones whose events are combined when you load the timeline.
Load Timeline
The Load button compiles the events from the selected source studies into the timeline table. Loading also locks the source-study selection so the displayed timeline stays consistent with the studies it was built from. The Load button is hidden while the timeline is loaded.
Unlock Timeline Study
While a Timeline Study is loaded, its source-study selection is locked so the displayed timeline matches the studies it was built from. Unlocking returns the Generator Studies list to an editable state, so you can change which studies feed the timeline and reload it.
Timeline Table
The timeline table is the read-only, two-column results table that presents a loaded Timeline Study's aggregated events. Events from all selected source studies appear together in chronological order, and each event's description wraps within its row so longer text stays readable.
Copy Timeline Events
You can copy events from the timeline table to the clipboard in several formats, ready to paste into notes, documents, or spreadsheets.
Find Timeline Event by Date
Once a Timeline Study is loaded, you can jump straight to a period of interest instead of scrolling through a long timeline. A date field and a Find button locate the event nearest a date you choose.
Export Timeline
The Export button writes a loaded Timeline Study's events to a CSV file, so you can open the aggregated timeline in a spreadsheet or another external tool.
