Exit Application

Closing Cygnus prompts you to save any unsaved work first, so you do not lose changes by accident.

To exit Cygnus:

• Click File → Exit on the menu bar.

If the workspace has unsaved changes, Cygnus shows a Yes/No/Cancel prompt before it closes:

• Choose Yes to save your changes and then exit.
• Choose No to discard your changes and exit.
• Choose Cancel to keep Cygnus open without exiting.

You can also exit by closing the window with the title-bar close button, or with the keyboard shortcut Alt+F4 on Windows or Cmd+Q on macOS.

The Exit command is unavailable while a workspace operation or a study generation is in progress. Wait for the operation to finish, or cancel a study that is generating first.
