New Workspace
A workspace holds the studies you are working on. Create a new workspace whenever you want to start a fresh, empty set of studies.
To create a new workspace:
- Click File → New on the menu bar.
You can also click the New button on the toolbar, or press Ctrl+N.
A new, empty workspace replaces the current one. The new workspace inherits the current Application Defaults as its workspace defaults, which are then applied to the studies you create in it. See Default Settings Editor.

If the current workspace contains studies and has unsaved changes, Cygnus prompts you to save before the new workspace replaces it. You can save your changes, discard your changes, or cancel and keep your workspace open.
