Open Workspace

Open a workspace you saved in a previous session to resume your research where you left off. Opening a .aquila file restores the workspace's full state, including all of its studies, their settings, and any generated results.

To open an existing workspace:

  1. Click File → Open on the menu bar.
  2. Select the .aquila file you want to open in the open-file dialog.

The File menu open, showing the Open command.

You can also open a workspace from the Open button on the toolbar, or by pressing Ctrl+O (Cmd+O on macOS).

note

If the current workspace has unsaved changes, an Unsaved Changes prompt appears before the selected workspace opens, giving you a chance to save your work first. See the Unsaved Changes prompt for what each button does.
