Chart Colors
The Colors tab holds the color pickers that decide how the wheel is painted. Color-code the signs, angles, and bodies the way you read charts, and every chart follows.
Overview
The tab is divided into five sub-tabs, each covering one family of items:
| Sub-tab | What it colors |
|---|---|
| Zodiac Signs | The twelve signs of the zodiac band. |
| Diurnal Angles | The four diurnal angles. |
| Planets | The planets, in the layout's own reading order. |
| Other Bodies | The lunar axes, the asteroids, the centaurs, and the catch-all row. |
| Uranians | The eight Uranian points. |
Zodiac Signs is the first sub-tab, so it is already showing when you open the Colors tab.
Each row shows the item's name and a color picker, preceded by a preview glyph painted in the item's current color. The catch-all "All Other Bodies" row carries no glyph, because it stands for no single point. The rows are laid out in two scrolling columns.
Changing a color repaints every open chart immediately, so you can judge a palette against a real wheel. Nothing is written to disk until you press Save on the window's bottom bar. See Chart Settings Window.
The wheel's own surfaces, strokes, and text carry no rows here. They follow the application's Light and Dark theme, and so does the line color for an aspect that has no color setting of its own.

Procedures
Set a Zodiac Sign Color
To color-code the zodiac band:
- Click the Colors tab.
- Click the color picker on the sign's row and choose a color.
The row repaints its preview glyph in the new color and every open chart repaints immediately.
No sub-tab click is needed here: Zodiac Signs is the first sub-tab and is already showing when the Colors tab opens. If you have left another sub-tab showing, click Zodiac Signs first.

Set a Diurnal Angle Color
To give the diurnal angles their own colors on the wheel:
- Click the Colors tab.
- Click the Diurnal Angles sub-tab.
- Click the color picker on the angle's row and choose a color.
The row repaints its preview glyph in the new color and every open chart repaints immediately.

Set a Planet Color
To give each planet the color you read it in:
- Click the Colors tab.
- Click the Planets sub-tab.
- Click the color picker on the planet's row and choose a color.
The row repaints its preview glyph in the new color and every open chart repaints immediately.

Set an Other-Body Color
To color the bodies outside the planet set, or the catch-all row every unlisted body follows:
- Click the Colors tab.
- Click the Other Bodies sub-tab.
- Click the color picker on the body's row and choose a color.
The row repaints its preview glyph in the new color and every open chart repaints immediately. The catch-all "All Other Bodies" row carries no glyph to repaint.

Set a Uranian Color
To color the Uranian points on the wheel:
- Click the Colors tab.
- Click the Uranians sub-tab.
- Click the color picker on the point's row and choose a color.
The row repaints its preview glyph in the new color and every open chart repaints immediately.

The final row, All Other Bodies, is the catch-all: it sets the color used for any body that has no explicit row of its own.
If your stored chart settings file has been hand-edited to add body keys outside the standard catalog, one extra row appears per added key, labeled Body {number} and placed on this sub-tab ahead of the All Other Bodies row. That state is not reachable through the application's own controls, so the rows listed above are what the shipped application offers.
