Mundane Parallels Study

The Mundane Parallels Study generates an event whenever a pair of transiting bodies form a parallel or contraparallel aspect. A parallel occurs when two bodies share the same declination on the same side of the celestial equator; a contraparallel occurs when they share the same declination magnitude on opposite sides.

Events Captured

A Mundane Parallels event occurs when a pair of transiting bodies form an exact parallel or contraparallel. Both subtypes are reported in a single events table, distinguished by the Event Type column.
