Copy Study

Copying duplicates the selected study, including all of its configuration: its location, reference system, date range, interval, bodies, and metrics. The copy is appended to the Studies list, named after the original with " (copy)" added, and becomes the selected study.

The copy holds no generated records and is unlocked, so you can change one setting and generate it immediately. This is the quickest way to compare two variations of the same question side by side.

Copy the Selected Study​

To duplicate a study:

  1. Click the study to duplicate in the Studies list.
  2. Open the Edit menu.
  3. Click Copy Study in the Edit menu.

tip

The Copy Study button on the Toolbar and the Copy entry on the Studies list right-click menu do the same thing.

The command is unavailable when no study is selected, while the workspace is locked by a save or a load, and while the selected study is generating records.
