Study Name

The Study Name box sits at the top of every study editor, on all nine study types. Whatever you type there is the name shown for the study in the Studies list, and it becomes the suggested file name when you export the study's records to CSV. Naming your studies is what makes a workspace of five geocentric ephemerides readable.

Name the Study​

To label a study:

  1. Click the Study Name box at the top of the study editor.
  2. Enter the name for the study.

The name in the Studies list updates as you type, and the Changes are saved indicator turns red until you save the workspace.

tip

The Study Name box stays editable after the records are generated, because the name is not a generation parameter. You can rename a locked study without unlocking it.
