Bodies List

The bodies list is the checkbox list of celestial bodies a study includes. On standard studies it appears once, labeled Bodies. On aspect studies it appears twice, as Inner Bodies and Outer Bodies, on the Inner & Outer Bodies tab.

Selecting Bodies Individually

To include or exclude a single body:

  • Click the checkbox beside the body name.

Selecting Bodies in Bulk

The right-click context menu acts on the rows you have highlighted. Click a row to highlight it, or hold Ctrl or Shift while clicking to highlight several.

  • To check the highlighted bodies, right-click a highlighted row and select Select.
  • To uncheck the highlighted bodies, right-click a highlighted row and select Deselect.
  • To uncheck every body in the list, right-click any row and select Clear All.

The checkmark shown in the list's column header is a label only. It does not select or clear bodies.

The bodies offered depend on the study type.

Geocentric and Topocentric Studies

Geocentric and topocentric studies, and the Inner Bodies list on their aspect variants, offer these bodies:

The Outer Bodies list on geocentric and topocentric aspect studies offers the same bodies without the four cardinal points (Ascendant, Medium Coeli, Descendant, and Imum Coeli):
