Lunar Eclipses

The Lunar Eclipses study finds lunar eclipses that occur within a date range.

Creating a Lunar Eclipses Study

To create a Lunar Eclipses study:

  • Click Mundane Studies → Eclipses → Lunar Eclipses on the menu bar.

The new study opens with the workspace's default settings, ready to configure. You can also create it from the study-group dropdown button on the main toolbar.

Events Captured

This study finds lunar eclipses that occur within the study's date range. Each event captures the eclipse type, its Saros series and member number, and the ecliptic position of the eclipse point.

An Eclipse Types checklist limits the results to the eclipse types you want to include: total, partial, and penumbral lunar eclipses.
