Station Hotspots Study
The Station Hotspots Study generates an event whenever a transiting body stations retrograde or direct while conjunct (within orb) a user-defined critical degree.

Create a Station Hotspots Study
To add a new Station Hotspots Study to the active workspace:
- Click Mundane Studies on the menu bar.
- Click Stations, then click Station Hotspots in the submenu.
tip
You can also create a Station Hotspots Study from the toolbar by clicking the Station Studies drop-down button and selecting Station Hotspots.
Events Captured
A Station Hotspots event occurs when a transiting body stations retrograde or direct while its longitude is within orb of one of the critical degrees listed in the Hotspot Degrees table.
Events Table Columns
The events table for a Station Hotspots Study contains the following columns:

| Date Time | Date and time of the station-hotspot event. |
| Event Type | Type of station (Retrograde or Direct) at the hotspot. |
| Body | Name of the body that has stationed near the hotspot. |
| Body Longitude | Ecliptic longitude of the body at the station. |
| Body Sign | Zodiac sign (with degrees) of the body. |
| Body Latitude | Ecliptic latitude of the body. |
| Body Distance | Distance of the body from the coordinate origin. |
| Body Speed | Daily motion of the body (near zero at station). |
| Hotspot Longitude | Ecliptic longitude of the hotspot the station is near. |
| Hotspot Sign | Zodiac sign (with degrees) of the hotspot. |
| Separation | Angular separation between the station longitude and the hotspot. |
| Event Interval | Time interval since the previous station-hotspot event. |
