Geocentric Ephemeris Study

A geocentric ephemeris study generates the positions of the celestial bodies you select as seen from the center of the Earth, over a date range and at the interval you choose.

Building a Geocentric Ephemeris

To build and generate a geocentric ephemeris:

  1. Create the study from Ephemerides → Geocentric Ephemeris, or its toolbar button.
  2. Set the study's ephemeris settings, including the required location.
  3. Set the date range and interval.
  4. Choose the bodies and metrics to include.
  5. Click the Run button to generate the ephemeris.

The positions appear in the ephemeris table, one row per interval step.
