Export Records to CSV
Exporting writes the generated records to a CSV file so you can take the data into a spreadsheet, a statistics package, or a script. The save dialog opens pre-filled with the study's name and a .csv extension, so naming your studies well pays off here.
The Export button sits at the bottom right of the study editor. It is enabled only after a generation has completed, and it is hidden on the three graphic ephemeris studies, which produce a plot rather than a table.
Export the Records to a CSV File
To write the records to a file:
- Click the Export button at the bottom right of the study editor.
- Choose the folder and file name. See Save a File from the OS Save Dialog.

Only the columns currently visible in the ephemeris table are exported. Hiding columns narrows the export, which is useful when you want a compact file, and surprising if you forgot you had hidden something. Check the table before you export. See Show or Hide Table Columns.
