Grand Trines Study
The Grand Trines Study generates an event whenever three transiting bodies form a Grand Trine: a triangular configuration in which each body forms a 120° aspect with the other two, within a user-defined orb.

Create a Grand Trines Study
To add a new Grand Trines Study to the active workspace:
- Click Mundane Studies on the menu bar.
- Click Aspect Patterns, then click Grand Trines in the submenu.
tip
You can also create a Grand Trines Study from the toolbar by clicking the Aspect Patterns drop-down button and selecting Grand Trines.
Events Captured
A Grand Trines event occurs when three transiting bodies are positioned so that each forms a 120° aspect (within the user-defined pattern orb) with the other two. The study reports the moment of tightest configuration, when the three trine separations sum to their minimum.
