Yods Study
The Yods Study generates an event whenever three transiting bodies form a Yod: two bodies are sextile (60°) one another, and both form a quincunx (150°) to a focal body. The focal body is the apex of the Yod's pointing finger.
Create a Yods Study
To add a new Yods Study to the active workspace:
- Click Mundane Studies on the menu bar.
- Click Aspect Patterns, then click Yods in the submenu.

You can also create a Yods Study from the toolbar by clicking the Aspect Patterns drop-down button and selecting Yods.
Events Captured
A Yods event occurs when two of three transiting bodies form quincunx (150°) aspects to a third (focal/apex) body, while the two non-focal bodies are sextile (60°) one another, all within the user-defined pattern orb. The study reports the moment of tightest configuration.
Events Table Columns
The events table for a Yods Study contains the following columns:

| Body1 Longitude | Ecliptic longitude (or right ascension) of Body1. |

| Body1 Latitude | Ecliptic latitude (or declination) of Body1. |
| Body1 Distance | Distance of Body1 from the coordinate origin. |
| Body1 Speed | Apparent angular speed of Body1. |
| Separation Body(1-2) | Angular separation between Body1 and Body2 (one of the quincunx legs of the Yod). |
| Body2 | Name of the second body in the Yod pattern. The apex (focal body) is exposed separately as Body4 in filter scripts. |
| Body2 Longitude | Ecliptic longitude (or right ascension) of Body2. |
| Body2 Sign | Zodiac sign of Body2. |
| Body2 Latitude | Ecliptic latitude (or declination) of Body2. |
| Body2 Distance | Distance of Body2 from the coordinate origin. |

| Separation Body(2-3) | Angular separation between Body2 and Body3 (the second quincunx leg). |
