Yod Activations
A Yod Activations study finds the moments when three transiting bodies form a Yod while at least one of them is activating a natal body.
Creating a Yod Activations Study
To create a Yod Activations study:
- Click Transit Studies → Yod Activations on the menu bar.
The new study opens with your workspace's default settings, ready to configure.
Events Captured
A Yod forms when two bodies make quincunx (150 degree) aspects to a focal body while those two bodies are sextile (60 degrees) to each other within orb. This study reports each time three transiting bodies form a Yod while at least one of them is conjunct, within the transit orb, a natal body. That conjunction activates the natal body.
Each event records the three configuration bodies, the angular separation between each pair, and the activated natal body, along with each body's position and motion.
Events Table Columns
The events table lists the following columns for a Yod Activations study. Many are hidden by default; you can show or hide any column by right-clicking a column header (see Event Column Visibility). Longitude and latitude columns switch to right ascension and declination when the study uses an equatorial reference plane.
