House Ingresses
A House Ingresses study finds the moments when a transiting body crosses a natal house cusp.
Creating a House Ingresses Study
To create a House Ingresses study:
- Click Transit Studies → House Ingresses on the menu bar.
The new study opens with your workspace's default settings, ready to configure.
Events Captured
This study reports each time one of the transiting bodies you select moves across a natal house cusp, marking its passage from one natal house into the next. The house cusps come from a natal record, and a House System selector determines which house system is used to compute those cusps.
Each event records the transiting body making the ingress, the house cusp it crosses, and the house the body enters, along with the body's position and motion.

Events Table Columns
The events table lists the following columns for a House Ingresses study. Many are hidden by default; you can show or hide any column by right-clicking a column header (see Event Column Visibility). Longitude and latitude columns switch to right ascension and declination when the study uses an equatorial reference plane.
