Station Activations Study
The Station Activations Study generates an event whenever a transiting body stations retrograde or direct while conjunct (within orb) a natal body.

Create a Station Activations Study
To add a new Station Activations Study to the active workspace:
- Click Transit Studies on the menu bar.
- Click Station Activations in the menu.
You can also create a Station Activations Study from the toolbar by clicking the Station Studies drop-down button and selecting Station Activations.
Events Captured
A Station Activations event occurs when a transiting body stations retrograde or direct while its longitude is within the transit orb of a natal body. Both station subtypes are reported in a single events table, distinguished by the Event Type column. The activated natal body is reported alongside the stationing transiting body.
Events Table Columns
The events table for a Station Activations Study contains the following columns:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Date Time | Date and time of the station event. |
| Event Type | Station subtype (Retrograde Station or Direct Station). |
| Transiting Body | Name of the transiting body that has stationed on (or near) the natal body's position. |
| Transiting Body Longitude | Ecliptic longitude (or right ascension) of the transiting body at station. |
| Transiting Body Sign | Zodiac sign of the transiting body at station. |
| Transiting Body Latitude | Ecliptic latitude (or declination) of the transiting body at station. |
| Transiting Body Distance | Distance of the transiting body from the coordinate origin. |
| Transiting Body Speed | Apparent angular speed of the transiting body (near zero at station). |
| Separation | Angular separation between the stationing transiting body and the natal body it is activating. |
| Natal Body | Name of the natal body activated by the station. |
| Natal Body Longitude | Ecliptic longitude (or right ascension) of the natal body. |
| Natal Body Sign | Zodiac sign of the natal body. |
| Natal Body Latitude | Ecliptic latitude (or declination) of the natal body. |
| Natal Body Distance | Distance of the natal body from the coordinate origin. |
| Natal Body Speed | Apparent angular speed of the natal body. |
