T-Square Activations

A T-Square Activations study finds the moments when three transiting bodies form a T-Square while at least one of them is activating a natal body.

Creating a T-Square Activations Study

To create a T-Square Activations study:

  • Click Transit Studies → T-Square Activations on the menu bar.

The new study opens with your workspace's default settings, ready to configure.

Events Captured

A T-Square forms when two bodies are in opposition and a third body squares both of them within orb. This study reports each time three transiting bodies form a T-Square while at least one of them is conjunct, within the transit orb, a natal body. That conjunction activates the natal body.

Each event records the three configuration bodies, the angular separation between each pair, and the activated natal body, along with each body's position and motion.

Events Table Columns

The events table lists the following columns for a T-Square Activations study. Many are hidden by default; you can show or hide any column by right-clicking a column header (see Event Column Visibility). Longitude and latitude columns are relabeled to right ascension and declination when the study uses an equatorial reference plane.
