Conjunction Activations Study

The Conjunction Activations Study generates an event whenever a pair of transiting bodies are precisely conjunct while forming an aspect (within orb) to a natal body. The aspect to the natal body activates that natal body as the conjunction perfects.

Create a Conjunction Activations Study

To add a new Conjunction Activations Study to the active workspace:

  1. Click Transit Studies on the menu bar.
  2. Click Conjunction Activations in the menu.
tip

You can also create a Conjunction Activations Study from the toolbar by clicking the Aspect Studies drop-down button and selecting Conjunction Activations.

Events Captured

A Conjunction Activations event occurs when two transiting bodies are exactly conjunct while at least one of them is forming an aspect (within orb) to a natal body, where the aspect angle is listed in the Aspects table. The natal body is reported alongside the transiting pair.

Events Table Columns

The events table for a Conjunction Activations Study contains the following columns:

ColumnDescription
Date TimeDate and time of the event.
Inner BodyName of the inner (faster) body in the conjunction that activates the natal body.
Inner Body LongitudeEcliptic longitude (or right ascension) of the inner body.
Inner Body SignZodiac sign of the inner body.
Inner Body LatitudeEcliptic latitude (or declination) of the inner body.
Inner Body DistanceDistance of the inner body from the coordinate origin.
