Conjunction Activations

A Conjunction Activations study finds the moments when a pair of transiting bodies are precisely conjunct while together aspecting a natal body.

Creating a Conjunction Activations Study

To create a Conjunction Activations study:

• Click Transit Studies → Conjunction Activations on the menu bar.

The new study opens with your workspace's default settings, ready to configure.

Events Captured

This study reports each time two transiting bodies reach an exact conjunction while forming an aspect, within the transit orb, to a natal body. The aspect to the natal body activates it, so every event links a precise transiting conjunction to the natal body it engages.

Each event records the inner and outer transiting bodies of the conjunction, the cycle angle formed with the natal body, and the activated natal body, along with each body's position and motion.

Events Table Columns

The events table lists the following columns for a Conjunction Activations study. Many are hidden by default; you can show or hide any column by right-clicking a column header (see Event Column Visibility). Longitude and latitude columns show ecliptic values, or right ascension and declination when the study uses an equatorial reference plane.

Date Time	Local date/time of the conjunction-activation event.
Inner Body	Inner transiting body of the conjunction.
Inner Body Longitude	Inner body ecliptic longitude (or right ascension).
Inner Body Sign	Zodiac sign of the inner body.
Inner Body Latitude	Inner body latitude (or declination).
Inner Body Distance	Inner body distance.
Inner Body Speed	Inner body longitudinal speed.
Outer Body	Outer transiting body of the conjunction.
Outer Body Longitude	Outer body ecliptic longitude (or right ascension).
Outer Body Sign	Zodiac sign of the outer body.
Outer Body Latitude	Outer body latitude (or declination).
Outer Body Distance	Outer body distance.
Outer Body Speed	Outer body longitudinal speed.
Cycle Angle	Cycle angle (aspect) formed with the natal body.
Phase	Applying or separating phase of the aspect.
Separation	Angular separation from the exact aspect.
Natal Body	Activated natal body.
Natal Body Longitude	Natal body ecliptic longitude (or right ascension).
Natal Body Sign	Zodiac sign of the natal body.
Natal Body Latitude	Natal body latitude (or declination).
Natal Body Distance	Natal body distance.
Natal Body Speed	Natal body longitudinal speed.
Event Interval	Interval (days) since the previous event.
