Creating a Lunar Eclipse Activations Study
To create a Lunar Eclipse Activations study:
- Click Transit Studies → Lunar Eclipse Activations on the menu bar.
The new study opens with your workspace's default settings, ready to configure.
Events Captured
This study reports each lunar eclipse that forms an aspect, within the transit orb, to one of your selected natal bodies. The aspect to the natal body activates it, so every event ties a lunar eclipse to the natal body it engages. Events can include total, partial, and penumbral lunar eclipses.
Each event records the eclipse and its Saros details, the cycle angle it forms with the natal body, and the activated natal body, along with the natal body's position and motion.
Events Table Columns
The events table lists the following columns for a Lunar Eclipse Activations study. Many are hidden by default; you can show or hide any column by right-clicking a column header (see Event Column Visibility). Longitude and latitude columns show ecliptic values, or right ascension and declination when the study uses an equatorial reference plane.

| Natal Body Longitude | Natal body ecliptic longitude (or right ascension). |
| Natal Body Sign | Zodiac sign of the natal body. |
| Natal Body Latitude | Natal body latitude (or declination). |
| Natal Body Distance | Natal body distance. |
| Natal Body Speed | Natal body longitudinal speed. |
| Event Interval | Interval (days) since the previous event. |
