The Lunar Eclipse Activations Study generates an event whenever a lunar eclipse aspects (within orb) a natal body. Use the study to find every lunar eclipse that activates an important natal position.

Create a Lunar Eclipse Activations Study

To add a new Lunar Eclipse Activations Study to the active workspace:

  1. Click Transit Studies on the menu bar.
  2. Click Lunar Eclipse Activations in the menu.

You can also create a Lunar Eclipse Activations Study from the toolbar by clicking the Lunar Eclipse Studies drop-down button and selecting Lunar Eclipse Activations.

Events Captured

A Lunar Eclipse Activations event occurs when a lunar eclipse forms an exact aspect listed in the Aspects table to a natal body, within the transit orb. The eclipse type, Saros series, and the activated natal body are all reported.

Cycle AngleAspect angle (cycle position) between the eclipse point and the natal body, in degrees.
PhasePhase of the activating aspect cycle, derived from the cycle angle: New (0°), Waxing (between 0° and 180°), Full (180°), or Waning (between 180° and 360°).
SeparationAngular separation between the eclipse point and the natal body.
Natal BodyName of the natal body activated by the lunar eclipse.
Natal Body LongitudeEcliptic longitude (or right ascension) of the natal body.
Natal Body SignZodiac sign of the natal body.
Natal Body LatitudeEcliptic latitude (or declination) of the natal body.
Natal Body DistanceDistance of the natal body from the coordinate origin.
Natal Body SpeedApparent angular speed of the natal body.
Event IntervalTime interval between this event and the previous event.
