Grand Trine Activations
A Grand Trine Activations study finds the moments when three transiting bodies form a Grand Trine while at least one of them is activating a natal body.
Creating a Grand Trine Activations Study
To create a Grand Trine Activations study:
- Click Transit Studies → Grand Trine Activations on the menu bar.
The new study opens with your workspace's default settings, ready to configure.
Events Captured
A Grand Trine forms when three bodies each hold a 120 degree aspect to the other two, creating a triangular configuration. This study reports each time three transiting bodies complete a Grand Trine while at least one of them is conjunct, within the transit orb, a natal body. That conjunction activates the natal body.
Each event records the three configuration bodies, the angular separation between each pair, and the activated natal body, along with each body's position and motion.
Events Table Columns
The events table lists the following columns for a Grand Trine Activations study. Many are hidden by default; you can show or hide any column by right-clicking a column header (see Event Column Visibility). Longitude and latitude columns switch to right ascension and declination when the study uses an equatorial reference plane.
