Main Toolbar
The toolbar runs across the top of the main window and gives one-click access to Aquila's most common commands: managing workspace files, creating studies, and opening the editors. The buttons are grouped as described below.
Workspace Buttons
The toolbar begins with buttons for managing workspace files.

Study-Group Dropdown Buttons
Ten dropdown buttons group the study types by phenomenon. Each button opens a flyout of related study types. To create a study, click a dropdown button, then click a study type in the flyout. Every study type is also available from the menu bar.

The Declination Studies dropdown lists its study types in a different order than the menu bar does (the toolbar places Latitude Extrema last, while the menu bar places it second). Both reflect the application, and every study type is available from both.
Study Buttons
Beside the dropdowns are buttons for creating and managing individual studies.
