Transiting Parallels Study
The Transiting Parallels Study generates an event whenever a transiting body forms an exact parallel or contraparallel to a natal body.

Create a Transiting Parallels Study
To add a new Transiting Parallels Study to the active workspace:
- Click Transit Studies on the menu bar.
- Click Transiting Parallels in the menu.

You can also create a Transiting Parallels Study from the toolbar by clicking the Parallel Studies drop-down button and selecting Transiting Parallels.
Events Captured
A Transiting Parallels event occurs when a transiting body and a natal body share the same declination (parallel) or share the same declination magnitude on opposite sides of the celestial equator (contraparallel). Both subtypes are reported in a single events table, distinguished by the Event Type column.
Events Table Columns
The events table for a Transiting Parallels Study contains the following columns:

| Event Type | Subtype of the parallel event (Parallel or Contraparallel). |
| Transiting Body | Name of the transiting body forming the parallel/contraparallel with the natal body. |
| Transiting Body Longitude | Ecliptic longitude (or right ascension) of the transiting body. |
| Transiting Body Sign | Zodiac sign of the transiting body. |
| Transiting Body Latitude | Ecliptic latitude (or declination) of the transiting body. |
| Transiting Body Distance | Distance of the transiting body from the coordinate origin. |
| Transiting Body Speed | Apparent angular speed of the transiting body. |
| Natal Body | Name of the natal body in parallel with the transiting body. |
| Natal Body Longitude | Ecliptic longitude (or right ascension) of the natal body. |
| Natal Body Sign | Zodiac sign of the natal body. |
| Natal Body Latitude | Ecliptic latitude (or declination) of the natal body. |
| Natal Body Distance | Distance of the natal body from the coordinate origin. |
| Natal Body Speed | Apparent angular speed of the natal body. |
| Event Interval | Time interval between this event and the previous event. |
