Arcs Table

The Arcs table appears on the Mundane Arcs Study and lists arc lengths in degrees of longitude or right ascension. The Mundane Arcs Study generates an event whenever a body has traveled a whole-number multiple of an arc value in the table.

arcs-table-overview

The Arcs table follows the same row management and preset patterns as the Aspects table, so the same sequences of clicks apply.

Add Arc

To add a new arc value to the Arcs table:

  1. Type the arc length in the text box immediately below the table.
  2. Press Enter, or click the Add button to the right of the text box.

A new row containing the entered arc appears in the table. The Add button is enabled only when the text box contains a value AND the study is unlocked.

To change the value of an existing arc row:

  1. Click the row in the Arcs table to focus it.
  2. Click the cell of the focused row to enter edit mode and type the new value.
  3. Press Tab to commit the value.

Delete Arcs

To remove one or more rows from the Arcs table:

  1. Click a row in the Arcs table to select it.
  2. Optionally Shift-click or Ctrl-click additional rows to extend the selection.
  3. Press Delete to remove the selected rows.
